ARUSHA TO NGORONGORO CRATER

Overview

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO MAKUYUNI 77kms

In the morning at 08 we will start our ride to the west of arusha heading to makuyuni, you will ride throu maasai villages, towns and open plains, on the ride we will visit some maasai boma and meserani snake park, a home of to a variety of snakes common in Eastern and Southern Africa , this ride is mainly on tarmac road but the view is authentic and worth the ride, on the way you might encounter the herd of cows,goats and sheeps led by maasai kids with the great view of mt. Meru, this might be the longest ride but since we have our support jeep you are allowed to hop in the vehicle anytime you feel like, after riding for hours we will reach at our camp site to spend a night with bonfire ready for the next day ride.

Day 2: MAKUYUNI TO MTO WA MBU 36kms

Early morning we hop on our bikes, this is an easy ride, we will ride to the northern heading to mto wa mbu, you might spot some wild animals like zebras since this this area is reach in wildlife, with a stunning view of the Great rift valley and some maasai settlements next to the road, we will arrive before the noon, we will take a rest at our campsite for luch then wewill take a ride around just to exlpore the area heading to the beautiful miwaleni waterfalls headen under great rift valley, on the way back we will ride to the view of lake manyara and then back to our camp site.

Day 3: MTO WA MBU TO KARATU 27kms

We will start our ride around 09a heading to karatu, after arriving we will have our lunch there and after the lunch we will hop on our bikes again and start exploring the villages heading to Ngorongoro Forest Highlands which is a nice compliment to a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater.here you’ll learn about medicinal plants, view a number of bird species, watch waterfalls tumble down a cliff, and see the elephant caves. If you are lucky, you may also see a number of animals who live in the forest such as elephants, buffalo, baboons, and various reptiles.

Day 4: KARATU TO NGORONGORO CRATER

This is the last day of your adventure and since you been on your saddle for three days, now its time to enjoy your jeep for a game drive in Ngorongoro conservation Area which is famous for being the world's largest inactive caldera, here will enjoy the game drive whilst spotting some wild animals such as Elephants, elands, hartebeests, and the endangered rhinos are among the residents of the crater. There are also resident zebras and wildebeests in the crater that do not take part in the annual migration. Hippos are found in the permanent fresh water pools and the swamps in the crater, this game drive is an unforgettable experience which you do not want to miss, after a game drive we will ride back to Arusha. This is the end of our 4 days tour.
